Star Tribune Names IDC Spring a 2021 Top Workplace

About the 2021 Top Workplace Award

Using survey information from Energage, an independent company that concentrates on employee engagement and retention, the Star Tribune selected the winners of this impressive award.

The final analysis took the survey responses of nearly 80,000 employees from nonprofit, public and private organizations in Minnesota. The survey contained questions about the employees’ opinions concerning several aspects of their workplace, including engagement, organizational health and overall satisfaction at work.

Regarding the award, Star Tribune publisher Michael J. Klingensmith said, “The companies in the Star Tribune Top Workplaces deserve high praise for creating the very best work environments in the state of Minnesota. My congratulations to each of these exceptional companies.”

Almost 3,000 companies received an invitation to participate, and they were ranked based on composite scores drawn from the employees’ responses.
